Doner and Levy win Gold Star Memorial 5K

5.25.26 York, PA—Rebecca Doner of York won the women’s race in 20:14 with a two-minute gap on the rest of the women. Kristen Guerrini of York, now 50, was second overall and first master in 22:15. Taylour Mauro of York was third in 22:32. Maura Loht of York was fourth in 22:32.  Amy Sipe of Dallastown, also 50, was fifth and first master in 23:05. Amy was champ in 2023.

David Levy of York was the repeat men’s champion in 17:08. Matthew McKinney of Dover was second in 17:38. Mitchell Litke of York was third in 18:09. John Ford of Phoenix, MD was fourth in 18:09. William Rummel of York was top master and fifth overall in 18:20.

David Rizzuto of York, now 60, ran 18:46 to place seventh overall with no slowing down from 2025 in which he ran the same 18:46.  224 finished the Gold Star Memorial 5K, the largest field in race history. The race benefits the Gold Star Memorial and Gardens.
