Washington, DC; April 5, 2025—In its third year, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 5k has gained such notoriety that it was voted number one 5k in the United States. The epic stat on Pennsylvania Ave running directly towards the US Capitol is an amazing sight.
Julia Fenerty of Franklin, Massachusetts was top woman in 17:03. Sabrina Zator of Arlington, VA was second in 17:38. Michelle Navarro of Red Bank, NJ was third in 18:04.
Zachary Prescott of Arlington, VA was the overall winner in 15:12. Jason Fambrough of Mission, Kansas was second in 15:39. Lisandro Berry Gaviria of Arlington, VA was third, also in 15:39.
7225 finished, despite light rain, even Stumpy took part.
