Take the time at the new year to count your blessings. As long as we can put one foot in front of the other, as long as we have love, family, and friendship in our lives, as long as we have food, warmth, and shelter, and as long as we help others, we are truly blessed. Count those blessings. Even in the midst of difficulties and a pandemic, the blessings are there if we open our eyes to them.
Happy New Year! Share the light of your blessings with those around you. We each have a flame that shines within us. “Let that little light shine!”
Getting older doesn’t mean closing the door on fun or on the childlike spirit that lives in all of us.
As one of my favorite movie characters, Auntie Mame, says, “Life is a banquet and too many poor fools are starving to death.”
So…“Get Up and Boogie” and enjoy life’s feast, both on the roads and off.
