YORK, PA—Under new management, by the York Road Runners Club.  The 41^st Running of the York White Rose was held September 15. The event was well received by an enthusiastic running community after sadly not being held in 2017.

Brian Fuller of Mechanicsburg won in 25:31, and completed the sweep of the Run 717 Series (EBACC 5K in East Berlin, and Quarterback 10K in York).  Caleb Gotchell of Lancaster was second in 25:45.  Joshua Sadlock of Harrisburg was third in 26:47.  Masters runner Matt Marcini of York was fourth in 27:19.  Kristaps Lizins of Honey Brook, PA took fifth in 27:25 to round out the top five podium spots.

Zoe Matherne of Camp Hill won in 30:32, Bryanna Dissinger of Lebanon was second in 30:53,  Teal Liu of Hershey was third in 31:51.  Kaitlyn Oliver of Lititz was fourth in 32:37, with Katie Fuller of Mechanicsburg taking fifth in 32:52.  Kim Anderson of Dillsburg was top Masters in 34:49.  Anderson was eighth overall; at age 51, she topped all the 40 year olds.

Patrick Lister (36:31) of Mechanicsburg, and Christine Krebs (36:55) of York were the winners of the Stroller Division.  Flying Feet won the team trophy  (Marcini, Friesma, Wolfgang, Jamison, and Dubs). RG photo editor Clay Shaw, and Karen Mitchell were race directors of the event.
