Outstanding women seniors were led by Doreen McCoubrie of West Chester, PA, 64, tops in the sixty group in 1:11:32. Ann Wolf of Marlton, NJ, 70 took top honors in the seventy group in 1:25:33. Betty Olmstead of Wilmington, DE, 80, was tops in 2:42:14.

The event is competitive and fun, with much of the race on the Wilmington Riverfront and the Jack Markell Trail with a boardwalk over the marshes. Kudos to my friends Lynn Knothe and Greg Cauller for directing the race.
