10.14.23 Baltimore, MD—Lauren Ryan of Australia looked familiar to us as we photographed the Pandora 10K at the Baltimore Running Festival.  We had covered the World Athletics Road Racing Championships in Riga, Latvia on October 1st where Lauren, representing Australia, ran 15:59 for the 5K.  She won the Baltimore 10K in 33:33.  Only the first two men finished in front of Ryan, who won by over 3½ minutes.

Festus Lagat of Gwynn Oak, MD won the Pandora 10K.  Alexander Loper of Abingdon, MD was second in 31:40.  Shane Hart of Baltimore was third in 35:45.

Beighley Ayers of Towson, MD was the second woman overall in 37:05.  Elizabeth Drapeau of Philadelphia was third in 39:07.  The 10K, for the most part at least for us, was rain free.  1829 finished the 10K.
