Dymond steals the show despite the rain

Harrisburg Half Marathon, Pennsylvania, September 11, 2022—Laurie Dymond of Chambersburg won the Harrisburg Half in 1:30:38.  Dymond is 56 and has a long resume of accomplishments. Recently she became the race director of the Tom Ausherman 5 Miler, and ran and placed 2nd overall!  Dymond is an accomplished ultra-runner as well.

C Fred Joslyn of Boiling Springs won as well in 1:15:03.  Fred has won numerous races since moving to the Harrisburg area in 2014. 

Meghan Bolinger of Johnston, PA was second in 1:32:14; she, too, is a masters runner, 14 years junior to Dymond.  Lindsay Pridgen of Harrisburg was third in 1:34:34. Pridgen is known as “the running realtor.”

Arthur Smith III of Somerville, NJ was second in 1:17:05.  Tyler Lundquist of Palmyra was third in 1:17:58. Kevin Sagen of Camp Hill was top master in 1:27:26 and 13th overall.

559 participants finished the half marathon. There was a companion 10K as well.  Your photographers tried to stay dry, but mainly tried to keep the camera equipment dry.

Ali Huber of Middleburg finished fourth in 1:35:16. Bradley Yehl of Maytown was 24th in 1:31:47.
Patrick Lister #351 of Middletown and Max Gorelik #208 of Morton, PA both give hand signals to the photographer.
SWIFT runners Matthew Royer #526 of Wellsville ran 1:19:17, good for fourth overall, and Kirk Mummert #424 of Mechanicsburg was seventh in 1:22:55
Deanna Bailey #21 of Harrisburg gets in a good jump with a fellow runner during the early part of the Harrisburg Half-Marathon.
Clare Flannery of Harrisburg, always Irish in green with orange shoes. Clare won her age group in 2:07:21.
Leslie Marshall #379 of Camp Hill runs with Coby Bracken #59 of Fallston, MD and Kelly Lombel #354 of Pottsville, during the rainy Harrisburg Half.
Kate Kornucik of Carlisle gave the photographer a great smile on her way to 1:43:07 and second place in age group.
Jeff Paladina of Mechanicsburg finished in 1:53:44.
Timothy Ebersole juggled throughout the Harrisburg Half and ran a 1:36:39.
Lindsay Pridgen of Harrisburg finished third overall in 1:34:34.

Anita O’Hara #452 of Melbourne, FL, and Shelly Latsha of Mechanicsburg #334 are both all smiles. Both women won their age groups, O’Hara 1:50:16 to win 45-49 and Latsha 1:52:38 to win 55-59.
