Harrisburg Half Marathon, Pennsylvania, September 11, 2022—Laurie Dymond of Chambersburg won the Harrisburg Half in 1:30:38. Dymond is 56 and has a long resume of accomplishments. Recently she became the race director of the Tom Ausherman 5 Miler, and ran and placed 2nd overall! Dymond is an accomplished ultra-runner as well.
C Fred Joslyn of Boiling Springs won as well in 1:15:03. Fred has won numerous races since moving to the Harrisburg area in 2014.
Meghan Bolinger of Johnston, PA was second in 1:32:14; she, too, is a masters runner, 14 years junior to Dymond. Lindsay Pridgen of Harrisburg was third in 1:34:34. Pridgen is known as “the running realtor.”
Arthur Smith III of Somerville, NJ was second in 1:17:05. Tyler Lundquist of Palmyra was third in 1:17:58. Kevin Sagen of Camp Hill was top master in 1:27:26 and 13th overall.
559 participants finished the half marathon. There was a companion 10K as well. Your photographers tried to stay dry, but mainly tried to keep the camera equipment dry.
