Joslyn won by over three minutes on a course that starts on the upper level on the Greenbelt at Front and State Sts. The 7K has no street crossings, running north on the lower level under the busy Harvey Taylor Bridge. The race finishes back on the upper level near Front and Boas. Travis Luckenbaugh of Camp Hill was second in the men’s division in 27:55. Matthew Sabath was third in 28:04. Wayne Allen was fourth in 28:20. Bradley Yehl of Maytown was fifth in 28:50.
Kelly Leighton of Camp Hill won the 7K in 29:34. Arynne Moody of Gardners was second in 30:37. Kelly Rose of Dover was third in 31:49. Emily Nelson of Mechanicsburg was fourth in 32:29. Robin Alexander of Camp Hill was fifth in 34:30.
The race had over one hundred entrants. It was overwhelmingly hot and humid for the evening event; luckily the sun went behind the clouds after the first sunny mile and soon got dark after the leaders had finished.
