Martino, Dagley Win Blue-Grey Half Marathon

GETTYSBURG, PA, OCTOBER 17-18, 2020More Pandemic race coverage; the Blue-Grey Half Marathon was staged on Sunday, October 18 in two parts, an 8am start and a noon start.  The Gettysburg North-South Marathon took place Saturday, October 17.  Karen and I did our own workouts in the morning and covered the afternoon running (when it was nicer).  As it turned out, we only have pictures of one podium finisherShelby Joslyn, the 3rd place female of the combined results.  411 runners finished in the combined results.

Matthew Martino of Hanover won in 1:12:09, winning by over seven minutes.  Luke Rogers of Buffalo, NY was second in 1:19:37.  Colin Russell of Hanover was third in 1:19:42.  Robert Sinke of Silver Spring, MD was top master and fourth overall in 1:21:29.

Madison Dagley of Arlington, VA was the women’s champ in 1:33:11.  Sidney Drill of Philadelphia was second in 1:35:00.  Shelby Joslyn of Boiling Springs was third in 1:35:48.  Erin Moyer of Manheim was the top master in 1:40:45. She was eighth among the women.

The flag guy runs the Blue Grey Half Marathon in Gettysburg.
