Jared Ward #24 in the final 2K of the Boston Marathon. The iconic Citgo sign and Kenmore Square loom ahead. Ward had a great day with a 2:09:25 and 8th overall.

The iconic photo of every Broad Street Run, is the one with City Hall looming behind the leaders. One of the staff used to call it “the money shot.”

Deena Kastor ran 59:15, then stayed around to warmly greet other fast finishers like Maura Carroll of Arlington, VA. Kastor was second master.

Lead men pass the Lincoln Monument in the first mile of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Run.

Stanley Kebenei of USA placed 35th.
