Cassel and Joslyn win chilly Capital 10 Miler

3.28.26 Harrisburg, PA—Stephanie Cassel of Hummelstown, PA got the win in the women’s race in 1:02:02. She ran the race with Elias Dimitrakopoulos of Harrisburg, who placed third among men with the same 1:02:02 clocking.  The weather was very winter-like with chilly temperatures and strong winds blowing off the Susquehanna River. It was cold for the photographers, too, who took off early for the No Kings Rally in York.

C Fred Joslyn of Boiling Springs won in 57:34. Fred ran most of the race with Matt Wehrle of Halifax, PA who placed second in 58:11. Josh Sadlock, who lives near the course, did some complimentary pacing with the two leaders for much of the race. Joslyn, now 42, was the first master. Jesse Smith, 53, of Wellsville was fourth overall in 1:02:37.

Teal Liu of Hershey, now 40, was second overall and top master in 1:03:12. Margaret McLaughlin was third in 1:04:31.

247 total finished the Capital 10 Miler, also known as A Run for the Arts. A companion 10k also took place with 101 finishers. Brittany Druck, 32, of York was the women’s champ in 48:11. Jeremy Boehm, 41, of Dillsburg led the men in 41:01.

Stefanie Cassel of Hummelstown won the women’s division at the Capital 10 miler in 1:02:02. Elias Dimitrakopoulos of Harrisburg ran with her and finished third among the men in the same time.
Rich Kunkel of Dillsburg jumps after crossing the Harvey Taylor Bridge in the Capital 10 Miler. Kunkel was 12th overall and second in the fifty age group.
Nancy Rossi of York was third 50-54 in 1:27:36.
Margaret Moore of York (black/green jacket) runs north along the Susquehanna Greenbelt on a cold and windy morning. Moore won the 70-74 group in 1:33:05.
Matt Wehrle of Halifax, PA races with C Fred Joslyn of Boiling Springs along with pacer Josh Sadlock, midway through the Capital 10.
Brittany Druck of York was the women’s champ of the 10k.
Bradley Yehl of Marietta was sixth in 1:03:00.
Ashley Kearcher of Hummelstown was fourth in 1:05:39.
Jennifer Herrera-Mullar of Parkton, MD was fifth overall and second master in 1:10:29.
Marjorie Lebo of New Cumberland wins the 65-69 group in the 10k. I heard she has run in every edition of the Capital 10 Mile event.
Alina Hoff of State College runs along the Susquehanna Greenbelt on her way to 13th place in 1:17:47.
Teal Liu of Hershey was second overall and top master in 1:03:12.
Eric Gibson of Camp Hill was fifth in 1:02:40. Margaret McLaughlin was third among women in 1:04:31.
Elias Dimitrakopoulos of Harrisburg paces the first female, Stefanie Cassel of Hummelstown, on the HBG Greenbelt. They both finished in 1:02:02.
Cole Sunderland #375 of Downingtown races Andrew Fisler #2975 of Dillsburg in the Capital 10 Miler. Sunderland was 13th in 1:09:28. Fisler was 14th in 1:09:53 and third 50-54.
Nolan Weeks of Harrisburg was 15th in 1:10:06.
Kenneth Bell #124 of Lancaster won the 60-64 group in 1:11:14.
