Pressl and Fogg win CareFirst Half Marathon; Wes Porter blitzes Pandora 10K in 29:30

10.19.25, Baltimore, MD—Baltimore is home to Under Armour; the campus at Curtis Bay is beautiful. The Baltimore Marathon tours around the location at Mile 11.  Under Armour sends lots of their top athletes to the Baltimore Marathon Running Festival, as well as having a program and kits for top Maryland athletes.

Adam Fogg is a short-distance specialist from Great Britain.  Fogg won the Care-First Half Marathon in 1:06:53. Foster Malleck from Canada was second in 1:10:26.  Joe Maguire of Philadelphia was third in 1:10:36.

Ainsley Pressl of Baltimore was tops among women in 1:18:05.  Phoebe White of Baltimore was second in 1:21:53. Katie Shy of Baltimore was third in 1:22:58. 4500 runners did the half marathon.

Wes Porter, a 3:54 miler from Kansas City and the University of Virginia simply dominated the Pandora 10K in 29:30. Daniel Gibney of Stewartstown, PA was second in 32:05.  Vinay Ayyappan of San Jose, CA was third in 32:07, wearing a Philadelphia Track Club kit.

Marissa Dailey of Phoenix, MD led the women in 36:05.  Aisling O’Connell of Baltimore was second in 37:54. Samantha Facius of Sykesville, MD was third in 40:02. 2,283 runners completed the 10K.

The first event of the day was the 5K with a new Light Street finish line. Damien Dilcher of Baltimore (14:49) and Kassidy Johnson of Baltimore (18:12) were the 5K overall champions, as 2,721 runners finished the 5K.

Phoebe White of Baltimore was second in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:21:53.
Katie Shy of Baltimore was third in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:22:58.
Katie Yoder of Lancaster, PA was fourth in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:23:36.
Megan DiGregorio of Baltimore was sixth in 1:26:50 in the CareFirst Half Marathon. Marathon runner Wesley Tse of Daly City, CA ran 2:56:19, finishing 33rd in the marathon.
Brian Chin of New York City was sixth in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:11:40.
Beighley Ayers of Towson, MD was seventh in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:27:53.
Kara Lombardo of Baltimore (1:28:10) gets eighth place, one second in front of Meaghan Murray of Baltimore (1:28:11).
Zach Kaminski of Baltimore was ninth in the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:13:57.
Charlie Freeman of Pittsford, NY and Justine Burke of Bethesda, MD race together in 1:34:09. Love the matching kits and strides.
Deb Hicks of Halethorpe, MD won the 50-54 division in 1:35:31.
Teresa Wojtasiewicz of Baltimore is always fun and fast, too. She finished in 1:36:57.
Karen Claney of West Chester, PA ran the CareFirst Half Marathon in 1:39:21.
Irwin Ramirez of Alexandria, VA with his guide Victoria Salez of Brooklyn, NY doing some warm-up prior to the CareFirst Half Marathon and which they ran 1:46:02. Big time kudos to them both.
Wes Porter of Baltimore, ran an amazing solo 29:30 to win the Pandora 10K.
Marissa Dailey of Phoenix, MD won the Pandora 10K in 36:05.
Kassidy Johnson of Baltimore breaks the tape in 18:12 as the women’s overall champ.
Damien Dilcher of Baltimore won the 5K in 14:49.
Natalie Burgos-Rodriguez and Majesty Campbell, both from Alexandria, VA, run the Pandora 10K. Dunkin’ owes them free coffee and lots of donuts for their creativity and fun.
October 18 was “No Kings Day;” these 5K runners displayed their feelings on race day. We made it to an afternoon rally in Towson after our race photography.
These folks are some of the rare group of runners that have participated in the Baltimore Marathon Festival events every year since 2001.
