9.7.25 Harrisburg, PA—Annika Miller of Annandale, VA, and Ivan Zavala of Avondale, PA were clear winners in the Harrisburg Half Marathon. Zavala won in 1:13:32, Miller won in 1:24:48. The half marathon drew 462 finishers, and a companion 10k drew 196 finishers. As to concentrate on photography on the half marathon, we stationed our photos south of the Market Street Bridge, and did not see the 10k at all (sorry).
Christina Thompson of Pittsburgh was second in 1:26:56. Amanda Shultz of New Cumberland was third in 1:31:46. Teal Liu of Hershey was fourth in 1:31:50. Rachel Aslan of Camp Hill was fifth and top master in 1:34:12. A good age group ace Katherine Shank, 63, of Harrisburg placed twelfth overall in 1:39:15.
Lance Hains of Lancaster was second in 1:15:04. Will Gordon of Harrisburg was third in 1:18:14. Jicheng Liu of Columbia, MD at 53, crushed the master’s category in 1:20:57, finishing fourth overall. Richard Webber of Harrisburg was fifth in 1:22:41.
Ivan Zavala of Avondale, PA ran all alone if front to win the 2025 Harrisburg Half Marathon in 1:13:52.
Annika Miller of Annandale, VA won the Harrisburg Half Marathon in 1:24:48.
Ivan Zavala of Avondale, PA had a big early lead and separated from the field for good, winning in 1:13:32.
Luis Miranda of Lebanon ran 1:26:47 to place ninth among men. Annika Miller of Annandale, VA was the women’s champion, running 1:24:48.

Tyler Fello of Jacksonville, FL was seventh in 1:23:00.
Jessica Lightner #1278 of Lebanon has a slight lead on Heather Dobson #1535 of Elizabethtown along the Susquehanna. Lightner was ninth in 1:38:60; Dobson was seventh in 1:38:08.
Nickeea Raves of New Bloomfield was eighth and second master, in 1:38:23.
Ellie Stigelman of Millersville, PA was tenth in 1:38:56.
Jessica Thomas of York was eleventh in 1:39:01.
Chad Custer of Harrisburg was twelfth overall in 1:27:27.
Katherine Shank, 63, Harrisburg, was twelfth overall in 1:39:15, likely age graded champ. Nicholas DiMascio, 69, of Sinking Springs, PA ran 1:45:31.
Cameron Shopp of Carlisle ran 1:27:54 and placed thirteenth in his debut at the distance. Hayden Davidson #1105 of State College was fourteenth in 1:28:02.
Rich Kunkel of Middletown ran 1:29:49, earned an age group win.
Nolan Meeks of Harrisburg runs 1:36:52 along the Harrisburg waterfront.
Kate Kornucik of Carlisle was thirteenth in 1:40:15.
Ava Pyles #1378 of Hummelstown runs with a friend on her way to a 1:44:44 in prep for her debut marathon in November.
Shelly Latsha of Mechanicsburg ran 1:48:47.
Jonathan Croft of Hummelstown ran 1:46:04 (1:45:53 chip). He gets a boost with pacer Lindsay Fox.
Jeff Paladina of Mechanicsburg ran 1:54:38.
