Seeland and Crouzier Win Care First Half Marathon

Baltimore, MD, October 19, 2024—Esther Seeland of State College, PA won the Care First Half Marathon by four minutes, running a 1:17:10. Seeland ran for Messiah University and the University of Virginia.  Emmy Beyer of Ellicott City, MD was second in 1:21:52.  Jennifer Stephenson of Baltimore was third in 1:22:18.

Nicolas Crouzier of Gaithersburg, MD won in 1:10:02.  Crouzier, who has placed well in the Baltimore Marathon in the past, runs for the Montgomery County Road Runners Club Racing Team.  Sam Sheldon of Baltimore was second in 1:10:16.  Adam Wood of Salt Lake City, Utah was third in 1:10:26. 

The Care First Half Marathon had 4117 finishers.

Megan DiGregorio of Baltimore, MD was sixth in 1:25:49 six days after running the Chicago Marathon.
Beighley Ayers of Towson, MD was seventh in 1:25:54.
Joanna Hayes of Dillsburg, PA was eleventh in 1:29:37. Joanna won the 2021 Baltimore Marathon.
