8.12.23 Baltimore, MD—Dreaded? Well maybe it is the hills or the summertime weather? Likely both.
Two-time Baltimore Marathon champion Jeremy Ardanuy won the Dreaded Druid Hills 10k in 33:23. Zack Kaminski of Baltimore was second in 34:16. Jordan Leon of Baltimore was third in 36:03, as just nine runners broke the 40-minute mark out of the 252 total finishers. Marcus Hershberger of Baltimore was seventh and top master in 37:26.
Nilani Duarte of Fairfax, VA was the winner in 41:36. Courtney Wallace of Baltimore was second in 43:16. Kate Deanehan of Baltimore was third in 45:05 and top master. With the event having top three overall and then other awards, fourth place finisher Marie-France Vidaver of Baltimore was top master in the listing in 45:23. Allison Sauntry of Edgewater, MD, another master finished fifth in 46:34.
