Hampel, Hulme Hammer Harrisburg Half

HARRISBURG, PA--Alexander Hampel of Hummelstown, PA and Emily Hulme of Easton, PA won by comfortable margins in the scenic Harrisburg Half Marathon held September 10. 

Hampel won in 1:10:04, Zach Baker of Wyomissing was second in 1:10:08.  Brian Rosenberg was third in 1:12:52. Mike Carriglitto of Reading was fifth and top Masters in 1:18:28.  Emily Hulme was top woman by nearly six minutes in 1:23:19.  Whitney Heydenrich was second in 1:29:15 and Sarah Delia was third in 1:29:18.  Julie Burner was the top Masters in 1:39:24.  704 total finishers on a nice cool, good-for-racing morning mostly along the Susquehanna River.
